Premium Dried Goji Power® Goji Berries - Rich in Vitamin C, Anti-oxidants and other nutrients

Our revitalizing and energy containing Goji berries are grown in the remote hills and pristine valleys of the Tibetan Plateau.

They grow in profusion on vines that reach over twenty feet in length and are harvested around October by being shaken on to mats then shade-dried before being carefully sorted and graded.

The berries are naturally red and have a mild taste comparable to cherries. Goji Power® berries are pure – tested in Australia against preservatives (sulphur dioxide), heavy metals and chemical contaminants (ie. organochlorines like DDT).

Packed in Australia to ensure first world hygiene standards (and fair wages!) in re-sealable bags to lock in freshness and preserve important nutrients like Vitamin C.

Goji Berries, Health and the ORAC scale

The ORAC scale is a standardized test used by the US Department of Agriculture to measure the Total Antioxidant Potency of foods and nutritional supplements.

This test was developed by a physician/chemist with the National Institute of Aging. It provides a precise means of determining the power of specific foods, supplements and compounds to destroy or neutralize free-radicals in the body; in other words, their antioxidant power.

ORAC stands for “Oxygen Radical Absorbance Capacity” and the measurement is expressed as “ORAC units per 100 grams” of a given food or supplement. Here’s how some common foods measure on the ORAC scale:

Onion – 450
Grapefruit – 483
Kiwifruit – 602
Cherries – 670
Red capsicum – 710
Red grapes – 739
